Meet Mark Hands, a qualified carpenter with a vast amount of experience in the building and roofing industry. Mark has always had a passion for business and wanted to earn his stripes by working hard and learning as much as he could from the building industry. His journey started in Ireland where he worked as an apprentice carpenter framing roofs and then tiling or slating them. Sadly, the recession hit, and after four years of hard work Mark travelled to Australia on his OE where he spent his time building and roofing in Perth.

Now a decade later he is a New Zealand resident and his passion has evolved into reality. Mark’s desire to provide the very best for all his clients, combined with his vast experience and strong knowledge of construction means that you can rest assured that your project is in expert hands. He understands that you have worked hard to reach the stage of owning your own home – more than likely it will be the single biggest investment decision you will ever have made – and he prides himself on ensuring that all work is carried out as if it was his own home, keeping the client fully informed throughout the process.

When Mark is not working on Element Roofing he loves to get involved in community work and is an active member or the Hataitai Residents Association. He also enjoys spending time with his fiancée, participating in sports together and cycling, as well as challenging himself with triathlons and boxing training.

Kelly is originally from Liverpool in England which we do not hold against her. She is the Element Roofing rock and keeps everyone who works here in line. She has a fantastic eye for detail and scans every booking that is made to find any missing pieces to ensure a smooth process from start to finish. Kelly handles everything money related and her numerical literacy surpasses all. I imagine it is like the Matrix inside her head; lots of ones and zeros. When Kelly is not at Element Roofing she is a busy mother of 4 who loves to brew beer & make cheese!

Warwick Scanlan is a qualified builder originally from Samoa. He has been a part of the Element Roofing team for the past 5 years and now brings that experience and expertise to the Operations role. Warwick has a huge understanding of this business as he was the first member to join the team after it was established.

Warwick has worked in all areas of the business and works hard on picking a problem early so that all Element Roofing customers have an enjoyable experience. Warwick receives gifts from clients monthly as he astonishes everyone with his fast accurate communication and helps the team to deliver the perfect service. When he is not working at Element Roofing Warwick loves to lift weights and watch rugby.

Once upon a time from Auckland, Melia graced our team in early 2018 adding a spark of energy and positive vibes. She has a degree in the Earth Sciences and has an enquiring nature that allows her to gather an understanding of the ‘why’ and not just the how. This gives her the ability to select and recommend the perfect product for each of our clients. Melia previously worked as a consultant to HRV, and as a result has a deep understanding of healthy home environments. She is very passionate about providing all Element Roofing clients with the best possible solution. When she is not working at Element she is a busy mother to boys, together they all enjoy hunting, fishing, skiing and travelling the great outdoors.

Having recently joined the sales team at Element Roofing, Wellington born Rebekah fits in perfectly within our local company culture. Warm and friendly, Rebekah’s collaborative, people-centred approach means she has a natural affinity with everyone she meets. Not surprisingly, Rebekah’s clients love working with her. With an established background in sales, events management, and a personal passion for all elements of property, Rebekah ticks every box when it comes to delivering a fantastic client experience.
